Ultrasonic cutting and welding systems for joining coils of fabrics
The ultrasonic systems for cutting and welding are used precisely to join two coils of fabrics and, at the same time, remove the waste generated from the process.
This process takes place longitudinally with respect to the direction in which the coil unwinds.
In the textile industry there is often the need to join two coils of fabric to obtain a longer continuous one.
For this reason, Sonic Italia has developed 40 and 20 kHz ultrasonic cutting and welding systems which can be integrated directly into the production lines. The benefit of the ultrasonic systems is the manifold as it is fast and removes the need to use metal staples or industrial glues, thus eliminating the “gondola” effect during the rewinding phase.
